Fiber Network

We’re building a digital utility of the future.

Our new fiber network will enhance utility operations, allowing us to better serve customers and meet the needs of our thriving community. Once complete, Colorado Springs will be one of the best-connected cities in the country, enabling the highest-speed internet connectivity for every home and business.

We’re building this network in a way that significantly offsets costs by utilizing a lease agreement with a national fiber internet provider, Ting Internet.

Customers in the first-built area of the network can access internet service through Ting. Visit Ting.com to learn more and check availability at your address.

The northgate and Briargate neighborhood zone is currently on hold. If you have questions about this project, please call our Customer Service Center at (719) 448-4800

Fiber network construction

Construction is ongoing in the first build area (I-25 east to Union Boulevard. from Woodmen Road north to Interquest Parkway.) and is expected to be completed later this year.

Additionally, construction is underway in the third build area (Union Boulevard east to Powers Boulevard from Woodmen Road north to Briargate Parkway).

Due to construction delays, the originally planned second build area (I-25 west to the city’s boundary from Garden of the Gods Road north to the Air Force Academy) is now estimated to begin in 2025.
