Water Quality Laboratory
Facility information
Our water quality laboratory is state-certified and uses advanced instruments to ensure the high quality of our drinking water.
We operate 365 days a year, collecting and analyzing more than 12,000 samples annually.
Our lab monitors our water distribution infrastructure, post-chlorination stations, online water quality instrumentation and mainline disinfection.

Facility tours
Our facility tours are an excellent way for schools and organizations to learn about what it takes to provide clean water to our community. Our laboratory tour shows your group the processes involved in providing safe, high-quality drinking water to our customers. Our tours are tailored to fit the specific needs of a school or organization and are free of charge.
The Water Quality Laboratory contains hazardous chemicals and sensitive equipment. Tour participants must adhere to all safety and site-specific requirements. An adult chaperone is required for every 10 students. Students are expected to conduct themselves in a reserved, respectful manner inside the laboratory spaces. Failure to follow safety requirements will immediately end the tour.
